Cut and Simplify
The Federal government spends too much. It taxes too much. It subsidizes its 'special' friends too much. And it definitely wastes too much! Grant calls for large cuts in "Tax, Borrow and Spend" ™.
The income tax is also far too complex. This is the fault of Congress! The IRS is unable and unwilling to correctly explain the law. The IRS is un-accountable to the public, and far too abusive in exercising its excessive power. Grant calls for massive simplification, on the lines of the 'Fair Tax' proposal (H.R. 25).
Cut Taxes and Cut Spending
End "Tax, Borrow and Spend"
Governments are now taking 31.6% of our income. Property taxes are so high because the Federal government passes laws and forces the states and counties to implement them. Government waste and fraud goes unpunished.
Grant has signed the NTU and Freedom Works tax pledges.
Simplify! - No Income Tax Returns
Reduce Stress, Costs, Invasion of Privacy, and Loop Holes.
We waste billions of dollars trying to file our income taxes, and more trying to avoid and evade them.
Why not fully eliminate the income tax with an increase in the retail sales tax which the states are already collecting? People who build, save and invest will pay less than those that just purchase goods. This way even criminals would have to pay taxes!
